Mild Spicy Green Coriander Chutney Recipe| How To Make Hari Chutney
I remember my father loved having coriander chutney for lunch or dinner. Those days we did not have a grinding machine, only "sil batta". And it was a big task for me or to my sister to get chutney done on that. We used to avoid sometimes by diverting topics and then mummy used to make finally. Now after having grinder-mixer I keep making this chutney for my kids and keep remembering these moments. I wish if I can rejoin with my father again then will make it for him too... I wish one day all misunderstanding heals and we rejoins... I wish.....before I die. Green coriander chutney is very famous for snacks or dips anytime for lunch/dinner. It is so versatile that mixing few ingredients you will get a new flavor every time. Here I am sharing this chutney with peanuts. Really loved it. My sister-in-law makes this way.
Ingredients: Yield for four people
1 Cup Green coriander roughly chopped 10-12 Garlic pods 1 Green chili 1" Ginger chopped 1 Medium size tomato 2 Tblsp powdered peanut Salt as per taste 1 Tsp cumin seeds 1 Tsp lemon juice freshly squeezed 1/4 Cup water use more if needed
Method: Grind all ingredients together, use more water if needed. Adjust thickness as per your requirement. Serve with your snacks.... :). Believe me, green coriander chutney is super awesome with any kind of snacks. Check other chutney's here
Note: Note: Add more water if you do not like thicker chutney.
