How To Prepare Crunchy Phool makhana Numkeen A Fasting Snack Recipe | Salty Lotus Seeds

Phool makhana/Lotus Seeds is a great source of minerals, protein and various properties. You can read more here. It can be consumed as a healthy snack, or in fasting with Himalayan pink salt. Here I am with the preparation during fasting.

Prepare crunchy and salty phool makhana snack in fasting

Ingredients

3 Cups Phool makhana/lotus seeds
2 Tblsp ghee/clarified butter
sendha namak/pink Himalayan salt as per taste

Method: Take a kadhai/pan and dry roast Phool makhana/lotus seeds. Keep stirring them for 4-5 min as they burn very fast. Add ghee/clarified butter and salt as per your taste. Stir them for a while and serve.

Note 1) You can add peanuts too, they are also eaten during fasting.
2) Adding chat masala will give a twist and kids love it.
