Aromatic And Flavorful Pudina Laccha Paratha Recipe | How To Make Mint Flatbread

Prepare This Aromatic And Flavorful Pudina Laccha Paratha In Breakfast

Being born in north India I always witnessed parathas/flatbreads in breakfast items or sometimes in lunch/dinner in order to keep it simple. There we have a variety of parathas, you name it and I will make it. You can check my paratha/flatbread listed.

Generally, I love coriander chutney more than mint. Mint always go waste as I don't use it on time. So now I use it in two ways, first I make it dry and grind it to a fine powder which can be used in raita or biryani, later on, second I use in parathas/flatbreads. Here is my version of making mint flatbread or pudina laccha paratha. Now to make flatbread either you can make like chapati or like laccha paratha/spiral flatbread.

Divide the dough into equal small portions and roll into balls.

Flatten the ball with the help of roller pin, apply a little oil and fold it in a zig-zag manner. After folding roll this into a cylindrical shape.

Make it like a circle now. Use dry flour and roll out into a round about 6-7 " in diameter. Cook rolled paratha/flatbread on a tawa (griddle) on both sides with applying oil/ghee. Serve hot with any curry or dal or raita. This aromatic and flavorful pudina laccha paratha is our breakfast with potato raita/potato dip in the curd. Do check it and cook.

This is very easy and simple paratha/flatbread to cook. No special point to take care of. Very straightforward recipe.

Do Check out my raita collection

I made this to send to our FB group Healthy Wellthy Cuisine where this time there is a theme for Indian Republic Day and we have to cook our specific state delicacies. And I chose my state Uttar Pradesh.

PS if you try any of the recipes do let us know. We will feature it on the blog.
